Queer and trans people have a unique experience of misattunement growing up and not having consistent reflections of their own identities represented in day to day life and mainstream media. We develop our sense of self in relationship with others and living in a world where queerphobia, transphobia, and anti-fat bias exist impacts the experience of being in one's body. Join us for this month's Community Circle where we will explore the intersections of having a body and being queer and/or trans. An article will be provided for reading and discussion and we also will explore case examples and consultation.
