Gloria Oladipo is a freelance writer and public speaker from Chicago, IL. She writes on a variety of topics, including health, race, politics, culture, and more, and has been published by Teen Vogue, the Guardian, Bloomberg CityLab, and other publications. She was a 2020 Expert by Experience awardee from the International Conference on Eating Disorders (ICED). Previously, she has written on her experience as a Black woman with an eating disorder and what the process of diagnosis and treatment looked like for her. She has also spoken publicly about the lack of culturally competent care for eating disorder survivors and about the intersections of race and mental health more broadly.
